Note to Parents

Parents and guardians must make regular use of the Parent’s page. Furthermore, please check to see if the Class Teacher has any information for you in the Teacher’s Page. This is vital because there must be clear understanding and communication between the parents and the teachers in your child’s education.

Some regulations for admission

  • A child’s entry point must be 3 years old and 4 years old by 1st February of the year he/she joins Nursery and Lower KG class respectively.
  • A child seeking admission to Grade 1 must be 6 years old by 1st February of the year he/she enrolls.
  • Parents are requested to fill out the admission form accurately, as the details entered in the said form will be maintained throughout the child’s academic life. Data once entered will not be altered.

Punctuality

  • Punctuality and Regularity in Daily Attendance is expected of every student. For students who are late for school and those who avail leave of absence, parents concerned are requested to state their reasons and sign in the pages provided. Such cases must meet the Principal first before entering the class.

Uniform

  • Students are expected to wear their full school uniform every day. Parents must ensure that their children/wards are clean and tidy every morning.

Fees

  • Tuition Fees are realized for 12 months (from Feb. to Jan.) i.e., one Academic Year. Monthly Tuition Fees must be paid by the 10th of every month.
  • Students who are admitted into the school in the middle of a Term as well as those who leave before the academic year is over must, in both the cases, pay Admission and All Other Fees for One Academic Year.
  • Admission Fee is Non – Refundable even in the case of student who withdraw their admission before commencement of the school term.

Conduct: Do's and Dont's

  • Regular pocket/bag checks are conducted in school. Parents and guardians please note that the following items are not allowed in the School:
    i) Pocket money.
    ii) Snacks and sweets are permissible only for birthdays, with prior knowledge of the school authority. Students caught with supari or gutkha in their possession will be expelled from school. Parents and students please note this with due seriousness.
    iii) Valuable in the form of expensive ornaments, electronic gadgets etc. The School will not be held responsible for loss of such items.
    iv) Toy guns with or without pellets, pen-knife, blade, scissors, lighter, matches and any other inflammable or sharp implements which can cause injury. Any of the above items found in the student’s possession will be-confiscated and punished will be meted out as the school deems fit.
  • Children must learn to love, respect, and take care of the school and the environment. This will develop their civic sense and facilitate responsible behavior. Damage to and loss of school property will be treated as an offense, which is punishable by the school authority. Damage control measures will be taken including fines and/or replacement of items for activities such as : defacement of walls, furniture, books; loss of property including books, laboratory apparatus, play items etc.
  • Senior students are expected to assist their juniors in every possible manner as part of the school’s EQ Programme.
  • Students are encouraged to verbalize their thoughts and opinions. This will enable them to learn to speak out loudly and clearly and help them to overcome feelings of insecurity,
    timidity and diffidence.
  • Etiquette must be observed at all times – in the classroom, in the playroom, outdoors, in the lunch room and especially on the bus etc. Disciplinary measures will be taken against any form of bad conduct.
  • English must be used exclusively within the school campus.
Students are encouraged to wear a smile – because, You are never fully dressed until you wear a smile!
